I know all too well (from awareness, not actual experience) that playing a 78 with an LP stylus is hell for the stylus. But what I haven't actually seen direct reference to is what the LP stylus does to the 78. Does it do anything? My educated guess is, Yes, it does. And what it does I assume is bad. Am I correct in this assumption?
