Marek is sort of right when he says pigeonholing isn't taking us anywhere --what he means is anywhere worth going to 

Pigeonholing keeps people where they are, and why settle for a dud term like TRAD 
rather than actually speak about the music 
(which you ought to be able to if you've listened long enough even to try pigeonholing
