Mike wins the blue ribbon.

Maihack also told me that there was a 5-string banjo in the recording
session that is never heard.

It is a very well produced recording.

Mike, where can I get the CD?

Silverstein's "Freakin' at the Freakers' Ball" album, lovingly reissued on
CD by CBS a while back, with additional tracks.

Maihack's "rock tuba" is a little hard to catch, but careful listening
rewards.

Maihack told me once that Turk would turn down any number of "decent" gigs,
but ones like this, he'd accept. The Murphy personnel present, if I recall
correctly, are Turk, Maihack, Oakley, Lunsford, and Howe.
