I've seen this DVD.  It is just great!  The band was in top form, guests
were varied and entertaining and the reason for the concert moving.  There
was a great electricity coming from the audience which had a lot of college
age students in it who, I am sure, had not heard music like this before but
who were absolutely grabbed by it! Oh, yeah, I was there at the original
concert too.  What a great memory to have come alive!

Hello Listmates,

The Black Eagles are pleased to release a new DVD featuring music from a
memorial concert for Chester Zardis recorded back in 1990. The concert
featured Danny Barker, Alan Lomax, Tommy Sancton and Brian Ogilvie as guests
of the band. The DVD contains about 108 minutes of music and tributes to
Chester by Alan Lomax. Danny talks about growing up in New Orleans and other
experiences. The DVD is available in both NTSC and PAL formats.
