A big "thank you" to all Jazzmates for the on and off-list responses.
The Australian Jazz Museum in Melbourne has a copy of the Down Beat Magazine, and I now have a scan of the relevant page 12.
Reminding me of an old Irish-Catholic story from my childhood about the man searching the world unsuccessfully for a four-leaf clover.
Only to find one in his own backyard.
