[Dixielandjazz] Roy Eldridge followed Louis Armstrong?

The Jazz Gestapo has several branches. I’ve been chided by the one that chides admirers of Miles Davis and other modernists. To be honest, I’m a member of the wing that pillories Kenny G. and the worst of the street/marching bands and BJ (Banjo/Tuba) groups. We should all be disbanded. To paraphrase my Momma, if jazz fans can’t get along, how can we expect world peace?
