The world has known about this  as it's included in Armstrong's book.  Yes,
it's on record that Armstrong sent money to the mother of this girl.

 

But----At one of the early Satchmo Summerfests I asked some Armstrong
intimates if Armstrong ever had testing for fertility.  Answer was in the
negative.  Also, Armstrong had bouts of gonorrhea, notorious in both male
and female for causing sterility.  DNA testing is now available-( recall the
Thomas Jefferson-Hemmings case-that was positive but it pointed to a Thomas
Jefferson relative, so the story goes).

 

So-Unless the alleged daughter comes up with positive DNA test, at least
this one is a doubter.  Show me the evidence!   Just because Armstrong
believed it ( was he duped?) doesn't make it so!  Just because you read it
in the Herald-Tribune, doesn't make it so, either!
