HELLO EVERYONE, I AM ENJOYING ALL  OF YOU LIVE BODIES OUT THERE SOME RISING FROM INACTIVITY ON THE DJML....MY FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES PREVENT ME FROM TRAVELLING OUTSIDE OF MY COMFORT ZONE IN ANKENY,IOWA A SUBURB OF DESMOINES,IOWA....I WANTED TO INFORM YOU ALL THAT WE HAVE A BRAND NEW JAZZ CABERET VENUE IN DES MOINES IT'S CALL NOCE.....PRONOUNCED NO CHAY   JAZZ IS PERFORMED ABOUT FIVE NIGHTS A WEEK WITH LOCAL TALENT PLUS MUSICIANS FROM CHICAGO,KANSAS CITY & MINNEAPOLIS .TICKETS ARE ONLY $10 EACH TWO SHOWS NIGHTLY WITH A FULL BAR AVAILABLE... IN ADDITION WE HAVE ANOTHER VENUE FOR JAZZ AND OTHER MUSIC CALLED THE DES MOINES SOCIAL CLUB....SIMILAR TO A GRENICH VILLAGE TYPE CLUB......ANOTHER JAZZ CLUB IS THE CASPE TERRACE IN WAUKEE,IOWA JUST WEST OF DSM.   SO IF ANYONE IS TRAVELLING THROUGH THE MIDWEST IN THE USA PLEASE STOP BY AND YOU MAY BE ABLE TO HEAR SOME OKOM IN IOWA.

I'm still here but overwhelmed by Life getting in the way keeping the avalonjazz.ca above the tides. If it helps, we host a weekly dixieland jam Wednesdays at 9pm! Would love to see everyone there! Or anyone really :-)
