[Dixielandjazz] The Dixie Cats

In the second half of the 70s I had a section in the Roaring Jazz Crooner
Chronicle (magazine of the Breda jazz club), called "Discolumn".
One of the items was an LP by The Flowerdale Stompers on Carmen 3053. It 
now
appears to be the same LP as by The Dixie Cats, same tunes, same band.
I never managed to find all details but it concerns here 2 different 
bands.
Most tracks are played by tp, tb, cl, p, bj, b and d: My darling Caroline,
Goodnight Ladies, Long Long Ago, Papageno Stomp, Little Brown Jug, Polly
Wolly Doodle, Glory Halleluja, Down By The Riverside (as instead of cl).
This band sounds more like a studio orchestra with competent musicians.
The second group has a sousaphone replacing the bass and they play: Once 
In
A While, Original Dixieland One-Step. A third track, Ännchen von Tharau 
has
soprano sax instead of clarinet and there's also a celeste. The 3 tracks 
by
this last group are far better than the other ones. Later I was informed 
by
Joep Peeters that these tracks were played by a German band called
"Jazzkränchen Immergrun" consisting of Heps Herberts (tp), Hartmut Ruter
(tb), Egon Wellenbrink (cl,ss), Wolfgang Lemberger (p,cel), Heinz Schmid
(bj), Herbert Leutz (sou) and Heini Waltz (d). Recorded in the 70s.

Does anyone know the personnel of The Dixie Cats.
Recorded for Avenue Records in the 1970s.

I suspect it is a studio band, but may contain some musicians we know ala
the Bonzo Dogs.
Not to be confused with the Henry Red Allen group's 'Dixiecats' Roulette
album.
