[Dixielandjazz] Softly as in a Morning Sunrise

In the last 30 years I've attended many "trad" oriented festivals. I don't
recall hearing "Softly as in a Morning Sunrise". Composed in 1928, it
is now pretty much "owned" by the modernist jazz players. A look around
youtube will confirm that. But I did find a Benny Goodman trio version
there and also a June Cristy clip with sounds of the pre-modern era.

I find the melody and construction to be well suited for ballad playing
ala Ben Webster and such, and ensemble style of small group styles of
the 20s and 30s. Wondering how many on the list have this Romberg
and Hammerstein composition in your playbook.
