Audacity will do this too. This skips the bit where you record using
the Superscope. You feed the output of your record player/amp
direct to your computer and do the recording there.

This may be an option. It depends how near your computer is to
your record equipment.

Depending on how good the audio system is in your computer you may
get better results from the Superscope.
