Dear Listmates,
Gerard Bielderman asked about Doris Day recordings...from around
1953...accompanied by the Page Cavanaugh Trio...
I have sent some information (hopefully helpful) to Gerard off list.
Then a few DJMLers talked about Ms Day's ability as a jazz singer.
Yet, for some reason, nobody mentioned the 1949 film "Young Man With A
Horn".
Nothing wrong with her singing there. 
Or the soundtrack band with Harry James.
Like Gerard my interest is prompted by nostalgia.
