I recently found this video on the internet.  Amazing to find these old
things that are only memories.  This was a Spanish national tv show held on
the island of Mallorca in 1975.  There was a monster line-up of Spanish
artists, including Julio Iglesias, but the highlight for me was being under
the baton of Henry Mancini.  I'm the middle trombonist (with the beard), and
have a solo at minute 5.
 
I spoke with Mancini during the rehearsal & it was just like speaking with
any other musician...no airs about him at all.  Marvelous person, and what a
great composer/musician.
