Marek enquired recently about Jack McLaughlin.

Jack is indeed still active and has just released a CD entitled 
FRENCHMAN CREEK, which was recorded just last June/ July.

Anyone interested in that style of playing can purchase a copy through 
the Australian Jazz Museum  - just Google the name and you'll get there.
