[Dixielandjazz] Whatever happened to Jack McLaughlin?

I last played with Jack at the French Quarter Festival in New Orleans in 2007, and for a while after that we continued to exchange a few emails, but I haven't heard from him in quite a while.  Perhaps someone has had a more recent meeting with him.   

I trust he is still with us.
