Peter;

According to the liner notes to the Mosaic set, Andy Secrest was the cornet
soloist on "My Sweeter Than Sweet". The notes also mention that part of
Secrest's solo matches Bix's solo on "Waiting At The End Of The Road". They
further mention the speculation that Bix might not have been the soloist on
"Waiting..." inasmuch as Bix was reported to have collapsed during the
recording session.

Hi Bill,
Am I correct in presuming from your comment re the Mosaic set, that Bix did
record "My Sweeter Than Sweet"
or are you referring to the Trumbauer version on a compilation disc?
Kind regards
Peter L

Dear Stan,
It certainly would.
I have the 'Bix Restored' set, including Vol. 5.
However, as you will have found, it does not include "My Sweeter Than
Sweet".
It is on the Mosaic 'Bix, Trumbauer, Teagarden' set MD7-211.
Very kind regards,
Bill.
