Hi Mates - The Milwaukee based New South Rampart St Paraders have been playing regular gigs since 1976. Currently we are at the Organ Piper Music Palace which also has a huge theater organ - one of the few left in the country. Check us out on Facebook. We played the Sacramento Jubilee several times under our former name - The North Water St Tavern Band led by artist/musician Don Nedobeck. I too have the misprinted DJML button that I got from Bob at Freeway Gardens at the pre Jubilee party that year. Have many fond memories of Sacramento as I lived and taught there (Encina High) and was one of the early members of STJS and worked with the true genius Bill Borcher and his vision for the Jubilee. I was a regular at Al Capones Chicago Tea Room and Pizza Joint when Bob Ringwald (the best pianist and entertainer ever) worked there. Also remember unforgettable performances by super bands Sugar Willie and the Ten Cubes (Sugar Willie Erickson) and Jim Maihack
and the Tappers. Was a great time all the time. John Knurr
