[Dixielandjazz] Clarinet Gumbo - Shameless Plug

Hi Folks,

I should have mentioned that my Classic Jazz Orchestra's new CD, with Evan Christopher guesting, was released world-wide on 9th September on Lake Records LACD 333. The album is called Clarinet Gumbo and if you've got access to Spotify you can listen to it online. Just put my name into the search field and click on the album cover when it comes up. By now it should also be available on iTunes and to buy and download from a number of sites world-wide.

The album contains some Jelly Roll Morton rarities - Ganjam, Stop and Go, Jazz Jubilee, Superior Rag - as well as his Black Bottom Stomp. The bulk of the other material is a celebration of the New Orleans Clarinet tradition, which is where Evan is particularly featured, and contains pieces by or associated with some of the greats: Omer Simeon, Barney Bigard, Jimmie Noone, Irving Fazola, Sidney Bechet, Ed Hall.

First reviews in the press have been very favourable, so I hope you'll enjoy it. End of commercial.
