I started this thread after having seen only one of the shows from the
series.  There was a lot of jazz presented in the hour long show, and the
photos in particular were great.  However, the presentation was really
strange...all mixed up with strange keyboard sounds played by modern people
at the beginning & end of the show, and then suddenly reverting to New
Orleans and trying to convince the audience that NO had little to do with
the beginnings of jazz, mainly with comments from well-knowns.  I certainly
wouldn't bother to see more of the series...
