[Dixielandjazz] Bob Byler Archives as of 10-23-2014

From: Norman Vickers, Jazz Society of Pensacola.

 

Many  on this list know Bob Byler.  He's a photo journalist, retired
educator, and one of the founders of the jazz photographers association. He
now lives in Venice, FL and is making his extensive collection available,
not-for-profit.

He's had some health issues which are now stable. He reports that his son
lives nearby and is a great help in assisting with the details.  He passed
along a letter and catalog of his collection.

Many of you also  know that Bob recently lost his wife who had a protracted
illness. 

 

Since DJML doesn't accommodate attachments, if interested persons would send
me an e-mail, I'll send the 3 page attachment with catalog of his holdings.
The attachment, of course, gives Bob's contact information in order to
communicate with him directly.
