[Dixielandjazz] Support live jazz

Last Saturday some friends and I went to hear Swing de Gitanes at the
Felicja Blumental (sic - she retainde the Polish spelling to the end of her
life) Music Centre.  I neve tire of that band - it seems to be better and
better all the time!  A good portion of the numbers played were members'
original compositions.  We enjoyed it thoroughly.

Another but related matter:  I have already forwarded the band's request
for participation in financing of its forthcoming CD.  Some progress has
since been made, but the entire amount required has not yet been reached.
I made my contribution before sending the previous notice.  I still believe
it's a good investment if you like the genre, so why not participate?
