Jim, I am way ahead of the new KB that your pianist just purchased. 

Mine is about the size of two packs of cigarettes. Besides it, all I need when going to a gig is a cable to interface with an amp, and a tire pump. 

A few pumps on the tire pump and I have a full 88 keyboard that plays and sounds like a Bösendorfer.
