Many requesters of written music for songs seem to be unaware of some online 
sources. Many libraries and museums have web sites which allow you to 
download scans of their material.

Both UCLA and Indiana University libraries have formed partnerships with 
many other libraries to offer combined collections at no charge. Here are 
their URL's.

There are many other sites, New York City Public Library, the National 
Library of France, and the British Museum among them. I have a more
