Ben Is indeed wonderful. He played 1st tpt with Big Bear Stompers for 
many years and still deps with us on occasion. He played /with/ Kenny 
Ball on gigs when Kenny was too frail to do a full gig. The band lives 
on with Ben on trumpet and Kenny's son comperes.

Ben can play in a variety of jazz styles and is also a good singer. He 
also has a great sense of humour and absolutely no self importance.
