"Wayne Jones -- one of the greatest Jazz drummers -- passed away early this 
 morning. He was a mentor, friend, teacher, philosopher and all-around 
great guy.  He enriched the lives of everyone around him and his loss is a 
devastating  one.
Bless his new wife, Charlotte, for taking such great care of him during  
the past few years.
R.I.P., pal. You were a terrific inspiration and you were  always there 
when any of us needed you..."
