Dear Friends,
Another sad loss to jazz.
Back in the mid 1980s, Wayne Jones looked after us during our five-day visit to Chicago.
Including taking and introducing us to the Original Salty Dogs (with Carol Lee) at its annual picnic get-together.
We also corresponded about records for a while.
A wonderful drummer and a very friendly host who certainly knew his jazz.
