[Dixielandjazz] food for the band

Recently at a planning meeting for a gig, I reminded the committee about the food clause in the signed contract. The country club catering manager was at the meeting also. He got red in the face, arteries stuck out from his neck, and he was angry almost beyond words. I concluded he must have charged the committee full price for us, but he planned on a shoddy meal instead. I chuckle about that.
