[Dixielandjazz] Austin All-Star Concert

Dear Listers:

Anyone who is in the Austin, TX vicinity next weekend is welcome to attend the final 2012-13 concert of the Austin Traditional Jazz Society seaosn.  This concert features the annual ATJS All-Stars.  This year the All-Stars will be:

Bob Krenkel (Plano):                 clarinet, soprano and bass saxophones
David Jellema (Austin):             cornet, clarinet
Gene LeBeaux (Dallas):             trombone
Jimmy Vence (Austin):               guitar
Westen Borghesi (Austin):         banjo
Dave Stoddard (Round Rock):   tuba, leader
Hal Smith (San Antonio):           drums

The concert will be 2-5 pm on Sunday, June 9 at Cap City Comedy Club, 8120 Research Boulevard, Austin.  For more information, please see www.atjs.org.  In the past, ATJS All-Star concerts have featured some of the best playing of the season, and this year should be no different.
