one day later one of Rita's regular drummers, Peter Ypma, died too, 71 years 
old.

Although no purely traditional jazz I thought I'd inform you that Dutch
jazz
singer Rita Reys died last night at the age of 88 years. She was almost
until her death active and had planned sveral performances for the rest of
the year.
