Hello Jazz Fans:


A new Trad Jazz event called Jazz 'n' Jam will be held in Henderson, NV in January 2014, featuring Grand Dominion Jazz Band and Bob Schulz's Frisco Jazz Band. This fabulous event is produced by DSK, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, (directors are Doug and Shelley Finke and Karla West). The dates: Jan. 3, 2014 (arrival date) to Jan. 9, 2014 (departure date). Location:  The fabulous Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, NV.

Six Days/Nights of great Trad Jazz (4 hours of performances daily by the two featured bands), dancing, dance lessons and jam bands led by professional clinicians, instructional workshops — all held in the luxurious Green Valley Ranch (9 restaurants on site, movie theaters, world-class spa/salon, and much more).

   

The Green Valley Ranch is just 5 miles east of the Las Vegas airport and 7 miles east of the Strip.  Excursions for folks who might like to get away from the property for an afternoon, may include a trip to the Boulder Dam, Valley of Fire State Park, a tour of the famous Las Vegas Strip, etc.



A $250 tax-deductible donation per person gives access to all scheduled events.

Special room rates of $117 per night have been negotiated for this event (discount code will be sent out to each person after he/she registers to attend).

It is essential that we have a minimum of 200 registered people prior to August 15, in order to go forward and to get the discounted room rate.

Your tax-deductible contribution of $250 per person is fully refundable in the unlikely event that we do not get enough people to register.
