[Dixielandjazz] Saturday - some thoughts

I don't think anyone expects a coat and tie at the Shakey's or Fuddruckers,
where I understand some Dixieland groups appear sometimes.  If it is a
dressier place, why not look like you belong there?

There may not be many of those venues around anymore.  Sometimes private
clubs have full on dress up parties, black tie affairs, etc.  No one is
making anyone do anything, but showing up ultra casual, like something the
cat drug in, misses an opportunity to impress.

Since you mentioned Clint Baker in the original post, does anyone know how
to contact him, e-mail address, etc.?

He was instructor at AFCDJS's Dixieland Adult Jazz Camp this last weekend,
and boy, was that fun!
