Hi Don,

Thanks for the head's up on musescore.org - looks like a good alternative to
my old Finale$$ version.  

For leadsheets, though, I use impro-visor
(http://www.cs.hmc.edu/~keller/jazz/improvisor/ )  I personally find the
optional text entry method of  leadsheets MUCH quicker/more flexible than
what is offered by many of the other packages...I can enter the text using
any computer/phone or other electronic device (wherever I happen to be), and
then copy/paste it into the impro-visor software when I get back to my
primary computer, and, bingo! There it appears on the manuscript just as if
I had painstakenly clicked a million times!  (Yes, there's a slight learning
curve) But, written music is just a theory anyway, right?!  ;)
