Not according to Frank Dutton, Martin Richards and Eric Townley, The Big Eighteen Soloists in 'Jazz Journal' (September 1975 and subsequent replies):

"A first glance at the personnels might give the impression that it would be quite easy to sort out the various soloists, but when one sits down and 'listens' it is quickly apparent that it is not anything as easy as it might appear."
