I hate it when an organizer for a formal concert wants a fixed list of songs
to be played during the concert for a printed program.  It so limits what
you can do with "playing the audience".  

I so much prefer to go in with a set in mind, but let the reaction of the
audience set the choice of tunes.  Plus, its hard to be sure of how long a
song is going to last when improvising, so a fixed set of tunes may run
overtime, or be too short.
