It certainly does swing!
I was not yet born then (but less than a month later).
I like the trumpet - a real jazzy sound, not too common on Glenn
Miller records, albeit there some good solos on others, too.  Despite
all I've read about Miller, I can't help wondering whether those solos
were written or improvised.
