I have mentioned the subject before. I have just played a BArber record in mamory of the late, already lamented, Pat Halcox. On that record, the band plays "King Kong" from Todd Matshikiza's eponymous musical, hardly a jazz standard! Recorded in 1961, when the musical was featured in the West End. Cheers
