Hi all.I just got this from Jack Wiard in Australia, it's from Eric's

Eric had a heart attack it seems and is in the hospital.

Eris has been doing my webpage for over ten years, and is a great musician

Good evening everyone!

I am sorry for the delay in getting to you all. This week has been quite
hectic with Dad being in hospital.

He was told a few days ago that he could have a bypass/graft to repair the
blocked artery, but they were working on getting his lungs better. Just
today he has been told that after much research from his previous operations
and heart issues, that there is nothing they can do for the blocked artery.
Apparently his heart won't take another graft. He was quite disheartened at
first, thinking that it was the "end of the line" however he has cheered up
a bit, knowing that they are concentrating on getting his lungs right.

For many months now he has had problems with breathing and clearing his
lungs. So finally something seems to be getting done about that. I guess the
heart attack made his lungs worse, however they werent real good to start
off with.

Due to my work commitments I can only go in once a day, although I do ring
him first thing in the morning. He was REALLY happy that last night he got a
WHOLE SIX HOURS SLEEP!!!!!!

I have been taking in my IPAD and reading him everyone's messages and I can
tell you he has been very moved. I dont think he really has an idea of how
many people he has touched throughout his music career and his life.

So please feel free to send emails. If any of you wish to visit, and of
course you are in the same country to do so, he is in Westmead Hospital,,
A5B Bed 28.

Visiting hours are 12-2 and then 4-8.

I understand how busy life is though, so if you just wish to send him an
email, feel free to do that and I will pass it on to him.

Our family is very pleased with how he is, as we were told at the beginning
of the week that he was "hanging in there by a thread"

As you all know he lost my mum, the love of his life, over 4 years ago and
he misses her terribly. But its not time for him to go see her just yet. I
want him here a lot longer with me and my family!

You all please take care, call me if you want any information

If you want to pass this on to others, please do so. I know there are so
many people out there that I just dont have addresses for.

Sam
