[Dixielandjazz] Dan Barrett as real Gentleman of Jazz

Just a big thank you to Dan Barrett  for taking the time out of his busy schedule this past week in Germany to meet and give a lesson to Little Thomas Wiggins, and especially for inviting him up to play Satin Doll with his band.    This is how it was done in the olden days, and all of us should take the time to pass it on and pay it forward for the new kids trying to climb the ladder.

Little Thomas was higher than a kite from the experience,  and of course looking forward to the next time he can meet his new friend Dan Barrett.     This little guy already  has the seasoned attitude of a much older Jazz player, and is just so much fun to watch develop.

Thanks Dan  for reaching out and passing on some encouragement.  I am sure it was fun for you as well.
