I merely have said it can be done, in a monster fashion by any band that has
its act together...that being a relatively equal level of musicianship
between members, and the fun & excitement to give it a try.

Jeez!  I'm not a master, so I have to be content playing everything at
medium tempo?  I attempt to go further at each playing.  That further can be
many things, and sometimes it means striking a tempo above the usual.
Sometimes it works.  That's good!  

Jazz is not sitting in your comfort zone.
