I'm not really looking for an exact value on the Gibson, rather to  
know if it has any value at all or not.  The big question is:  how can  
one know the model?  I don't see any markings other than the name on it.

Any ideas how I might find out the model?  I've looked up inside from  
the back where there is a small hole, but can't see anything.

Being a trombonist, I know little about the banjo.
