One comment noted on the broadcast, attributed to Rosemary Clooney was that
NOBODY was ever invited to Bing's house.  It was a place apart from his
performing life.

Dear Bill,
I don't know, but it's true that Bing and Louis worked together many times
well after Bing was a star world wide, and didn't need reflected glory from
anyone else.
