Many of you may remember Ginny Luetje, "Banjo Ginny," who contributed often
to this list in times past.   Ginny was a retired R.N. and Music Therapist,
and a banjo player who loved the music and established a group of St. Louis
youngsters to give them banjo instructions. Many of you may also know that
she has been battling cancer for some time. 

 

Per her husband, Don, Ginny passed away peacefully at her home today. 

 

Services are Saturday, in Kirkwood, MO.  In lieu of flowers, contributions
can be sent to:  St. Louis Senior Dog Project, 7488 Rivermont Trail, House
Springs, MO 63051

 

Ginny so loved the music.  Her husband said that earlier this month,  Bob
Lord's Dixie Rhythm Kings held a dixieland concert in the family living
room, which Ginny thoroughly enjoyed. 

 

Rest in Peace, dear Ginny.
