lol ... well, harder than you might think -- most online email services
(gmail esp) hide the history behind an ellipsis so the casual respondent
isn't even really aware that there is anything more to the message, and
they don't see the history when they read or reply (unless they click those
dots)

on the other hand, it is a general principle of information technology that
every device becomes separated from its manual, and every message becomes
separated from its context, so having that context attached, in these days
of nearly ubituitous broadband and multi-gigabyte USB sticks, is really a
Good Thing, because the software can hide it for the 90% case where you
don't need it, and it is nonetheless there ready to be revealed in that 10%
case where it becomes essential! :)
