[Dixielandjazz] Dixieland & The Belmont Stakes Horse Race

Dixieland Fans might root for "Union Rags" to win the Belmont. The  
horse is owned by Phyliss Wyeth who lives nearby except for summers in  
Maine, and trained by local horseman Michael Matz. (Barbaro's trainer)

On his mother's side, he is related to Smarty Jones, Secretariat and  
Mr. Prospector. His sire was Dixie Union, whose sire was Dixieland  
Band. (a son of the great Northern Dancer)

Anyway, cheer for Union Rags. Dixieland Band was one of the most  
successful sires around. Dixieland Band music may not be too popular  
these days, but Dixieland Band horses are still winners.
