SWING DANCERS  $10 - You are VERY WELCOME - Dress to impress - DANCE  
TO THE SWINGING RHYTHM OF BARBONE STREET. Talk to Lindsay Simone,  
Kathryn Wohlson, Paul Salter, Sidney Poor or Faryl Codispoti about  
just how danceable the music of this band is.

We will be playing hot jazz, swing, Dixieland, New Orleans Jazz, Hot  
Dance or whatever you wish to call it. It is great for listening and  
equally great for dancing. For those students in local colleges or  
high schools who are studying jazz either as musicians or in courses,  
come talk to some of the Barbone Street musicians who were there, on  
the jazz scene from the 1940s on. In New York City, Las Vegas, Paris,  
Berlin, Rome, Nice, Frankfurt and other cities around the world. Ask  
them about their experiences knowing and/or performing with originals  
including Tony Sbarbaro, Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet and later  
innovators like Clifford Brown, Lester Young, Charlie Parker,  
Thelonious Monk,  Mel Torme, Billie Holiday, Max Roach, Miff Mole,  
Count Basie, Miles Davis and many other jazz legends. This will be a  
rare opportunity to gain some first hand knowledge about the genre and  
the musicians who created within it.
