Actually, Western Swing has it's roots in Jazz. Bob Wills used to
tune in the Coon-Sanders Band in 1928-29.
A lot of country tunes have a neat Jazz Band backing. Here's one I was
just listening to... Sue Thompson "Big Mable Murphy"

(A little "doo-wakka-doo" on the end.
Jimmie Rodgers was about as country as they get... but they put some
jazz band backing on some of his songs.
You'll have to put up with a little yodeling to get to it.
