Hello Robert,

> I came back from a holiday in New York long ago with the CD in my luggage

The film was worth watching (I saw it on the telly), and I have the CD
as well - very enjoyable indeed.

What numbers have you got in mind? I have two - I Got Rhythm and The
Girl I Left behind Me - and Matthews is not listed. Nor is his
playing with Waller mentioned in his All Music biography.

Rust lists an Emmet Matthews on trumpet with Wilson's TOBA band.

>and there is a terrific St. James Infirmary worth downloading from amazon for the man himself and Cass Simpson on Hinesian Piano -- there is another track with Laura Rucker.

Delauney lists Matthews only as a singeron St. James Infirmary.
