[Dixielandjazz] RIP Ernie Carson

Bill Haesler wrote about Ernie moving back to Portland oregon from  
Atlanta in 1995 anad referenced a short description about him in  
Wikipedia. Ernie was a wonderful jazz musician.

It was shortly thereafter that trombonist Pete Pepke and I were booked  
by Ernie to play a concert with him for the Pennsylvania Jazz Society.  
The gig was in Bethlehem PA and since he also needed a tuba player, we  
recommended list mate John McClernan who also made the gig.

John, Pete and I had an interesting time that Sunday afternoon.
