   I agree that the clarinet sound produced depends on the player...Sabine Meyer, the wonderful 53 year old female classical clarinetist from Germany, plays a  Hammerschmidtt system  and has a gorgeous classical sound......Many of the older New orleans players had 'incorrect' embouchures, giving them the resulting sounds...Pete Fountain played a Boehm system clarinet...It HAD A LARGE BORE LIKE MANY OF THE ALBERTS, BUT THE KEYS WERE DEFINATELY Boehm...Cheers   JACK  WIARD
