[Dixielandjazz] Louis Armstrong's mouthpiece

Jon-Erik Kellso has played on Louis Armstrong's trumpets at the Armstrong Archives in Queens.  He sends the following observation:
 

> There were no mouthpieces in the cases. I used my own mouthpiece when I

> Ruby Braff showed me one of Pops' mouthpieces given to him, no grooves.
> Could be an urban legend, or something he did for a while, then stopped.
